Full Job Description
Position involves overseeing the program and operations of El Campito Child Development Center. The Center enrolls approximately 60-70 children ranging in ages from 1-12. Pay and benefits will be determined based on the applicant's skills and experience.

Qualifications:
21 years of age or older
Bachelor’s degree
Meet federal as well as individual state requirements for licensed childcare (i.e. TB test, physical, criminal background checks)
Knowledge of Spanish is desired but it’s not required
Nonprofit work experience desired

Responsibilities:
Oversee the educational program of El Campito Child Development Center
Knowledge and application of development/constructivist approach curriculum models, standards for high quality program, and child assessment practices
Provide support and resources for staff on program development, health, safety and emergency care protocol
Responsible for hiring teaching staff and supporting and sustaining positive morale of the staff
Be accessible and available to parents
Work closely with El Campito’s Family and Community Support Specialist to assist in planning and leading center events, parent training and educational programs to support parents as valued partners in the educational process
Oversee the enrollment and orientation process for new students
Ensure that all paperwork and documentation requirements are met for licensing, CCDF voucher program, USDA food program and HeadStart partnership
Oversee facilities operations
Assist the Director of Development and Outreach in developing annual financial operating budget
Attend Board meetings and assist with committee activities and Board member recruitment
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
